【摘要】:1.1ThisInternationalStandardisapplicabletoalldevicesintendedforimplantationinhumanhearts,asaheartvalvesubstitute.1.2ThisInternationalStandardisapplicabletobothnewlydevelopedandmodifiedheartvalvesubstitutesandtotheaccessorydevices,packagingandlabellingrequiredfortheirimplantationandfordeterminingtheappropriatesizeofheartvalvesubstitutetobeimplanted.1.3ThisInternationalStandardoutlinesanapproachforqualifyingthedesignandmanufactureofaheartvalvesubstitutethroughriskmanagement.Theselectionofappropriatequalificationtestsandmethodsarederivedfromtheriskassessment.Thetestsmayincludethosetoassessthephysical,chemical,biologicalandmechanicalpropertiesofheartvalvesubstitutesandoftheirmaterialsandcomponents.Thetestsmayalsoincludethoseforpre-clinicalinvivoevaluationandclinicalevaluationofthefinishedheartvalvesubstitute.1.4ThisInternationalStandardimposesdesignspecificationsandminimumperformancespecificationsforheartvalvesubstituteswhereadequatescientificand/orclinicalevidenceexistsfortheirjustification.1.5ThisInternationalStandardexcludesheartvalvesubstitutesdesignedforimplantationinartificialheartsorheartassistdevices.NOTEArationalefortheprovisionsofthisInternationalStandardisgiveninAnnexA.
