【摘要】:1.1Thispracticecoversthehandling,testing,andprocedureforusingalithiumfluoride(LiF)-basedphoto-fluorescentfilmdosimetrysystemtomeasureabsorbeddose(relativetowater)inmaterialsirradiatedbyphotonsorelectrons.Otheralkalihalidesthatmayalsoexhibitphotofluorescence(forexample,NaCl,NaF,andKCl)arenotcoveredinthispractice.Althoughvariousalkalihalideshavebeenusedfordosimetryforyearsutilizingthermoluminescence,theuseofphotoluminescenceisrelativelynew.1.2Thispracticeappliestophoto-fluorescentfilmdosimeters(referredhereafterasphoto-fluorescentdosimeters)thatcanbeusedwithinpartorallofthefollowingranges:1.2.1Absorbeddoserangeof510-2to3102kGy(1-3).1.2.2Absorbeddoseraterangeof0.3to2104Gy/s(2-5)).1.2.3Radiationenergyrangeforphotonsof0.05to10MeV(2).1.2.4Radiationenergyrangeforelectronsof0.1to10MeV(2).1.2.5Radiationtemperaturerangeof-20to+60176;C(6,7).1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.

【摘要】:Thistestmethodwasdevelopedtomeasuremoreaccuratelythediagonaltensile(shear)strengthofmasonrythanwaspossiblewithotheravailablemethods.Thespecimensizewasselectedasbeingthesmallestthatwouldbereasonablyrepresentativeofafull-sizemasonryassemblageandthatwouldpermittheuseoftestingmachinessuchasareusedbymanylaboratories.Note18212;Asaresearchtestmethodusedonlyforthepurposeofevaluatingtheeffectsofvariablessuchastypeofmasonryunit,mortar,workmanship,etc.,asmallersizespecimencouldbeusediftheavailabletestingequipmentwillnotaccommodatea1.2-m[4-ft]squarespecimen.However,thereisalackofexperimentaldatathatwouldpermitanevaluationoftheeffectofspecimensizeontheshearstrengthortopermitacorrelationbetweentheresultsofsmall-scalespecimentestsandlargerspecimens.1.1Thistestmethodcoversdeterminationofthediagonaltensileorshearstrengthofmasonryassemblagesbyloadingthemincompressionalongonediagonal(seeFig.1),thuscausingadiagonaltensionfailurewiththespecimensplittingapartparalleltothedirectionofload.1.2AnnexA1providesrequirementsregardingthedeterminationofthediagonal-tensionstrengthofmasonryundercombineddiagonal-tensionandcompressiveloading.1.3Thesetestmethodscovertheapplicationofthetestsusingeitherinch-poundorSIunits.ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Withinthetext,theinch-poundunitsareshowninbrackets.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnonconformancewiththestandard.1.4Thisstandardmayinvolvehazardousmaterials,operations,andequipment.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblems,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
