【摘要】:1.1ThesetestmethodscoverproceduresformeasuringapropertycalledMooneyviscosity.Mooneyviscosityisdefinedastheshearingtorqueresistingrotationofacylindricalmetaldisk(orrotor)embeddedinrubberwithinacylindricalcavity.Thedimensionsoftheshearingdiskviscometer,testtemperatures,andproceduresfordeterminingMooneyviscosityaredefinedinthesetestmethods.1.2Whendiskrotationisabruptlystopped,thetorqueorstressontherotordecreasesatsomeratedependingontherubberbeingtestedandthetemperatureofthetest.Thisiscalled"stressrelaxation"andthesetestmethodsdescribeatestmethodformeasuringthisrelaxation.ViscosityasusedinthesetestmethodsisnotatrueviscosityandshouldbeinterpretedtomeanMooneyviscosity,ameasureofshearingtorqueaveragedoverarangeofshearingrates.StressrelaxationisalsoafunctionofthetestconfigurationandforthesetestmethodstheresultsareuniquetotheMooneyviscometer.1.3WhencompoundedrubberisplacedintheMooneyviscometeratatemperatureatwhichvulcanizationmayoccur,thevulcanizationreactionproducesanincreaseintorque.Thesetestmethodsincludeproceduresformeasuringtheinitialrateofrubbervulcanization.1.4ISO289Parts1and2alsodescribesthedeterminationofMooneyviscosityandpre-vulcanizationcharacteristics.InadditiontoafewinsignificantdifferencestherearemajortechnicaldifferencesbetweenISO289andthistestmethodinthatISO289doesnotprovideforsamplepreparationonamill,whilethistestmethodallowsmillingsamplepreparationinsomecasespriortorunningaMooneyviscositytest.Thiscanresultindifferentviscosityvaluesforsomerubbers.1.5ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
