【摘要】:Itisimportantforrubbercompounderstoknowtheextentofdevulcanizationarubbermighthaveundergoneduringrecycling.Itallowsthecompoundertodetermineifmorecuringagentsareneededduringmixingofdevulcanizedrubberwhenusedeitheraspartialreplacementorstandalone.1.1Thistestmethodcoverstheprocedurefordeterminingpercentdevulcanizationfromcrosslinkdensitymeasurementsofdevulcanizedrubberandcontrolcrumbrubberinthelaboratory.Percentdevulcanizationisaquantitativedetermination.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
