【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverstestingandrequirementsformaterialsusedintheconstructionofmedicalfacemasksthatareusedinprovidinghealthcareservicessuchassurgeryandpatientcare.1.2Thisspecificationprovidesfortheclassificationofmedicalfacemaskmaterialperformance.Medicalfacemaskmaterialperformanceisbasedontestingforbacterialfiltrationefficiency,differentialpressure,sub-micronparticulatefiltrationefficiency,resistancetopenetrationbysyntheticblood,andflammability.1.3Thisspecificationdoesnotaddressallaspectsofmedicalfacemaskdesignandperformance.Thisspecificationdoesnotspecificallyevaluatetheeffectivenessofmedicalfacemaskdesignsasrelatedtothebarrierandbreathabilityproperties.Thisspecificationdoesnotalsoapplytorespiratoryprotection,whichmaybenecessaryforsomehealthcareservices.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsorinotherunitsshallberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmustbeusedindependentlyoftheother,withoutcombiningvaluesinanyway.Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodsportion,Section9,ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
